DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO GET MARRIED IN MEXICO
09 October 2008

1) Original Full Birth Certificate;
 
     and
 
2) According to his/her situation:
 
a)      If never married: ---
 
b)      If divorced: Decree Absolute
 
c)    If widow/er: Marriage Certificate and Death Certificate
 
3) If a name has been changed by Deed Poll or if the persona has been adopted, proof of this must be presented.
 
All the original documents must be legalised at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and translated into Spanish.
 
All the translated pages must bear the stamp and signature of the translator on the back together with a bilingual text stating that the translations are accurate.
